| ACTIVITIES: | CREW MEETING FOLLOW-UP: We are following through on items discussed at our last ZOOM meeting. Charity goals are underway and members are seeming to enjoy the excitement of being involved in the various ship’s activities. This week, we had our first table read in a year and this was a very exciting venture! Our dramatic reading of the TOS episode “Let That Be Your Last Battlefield” is now being edited and will be available for viewing in about a week. My thanks to my second officer, Lieutenant Commander Mitson, for the suggestion of this timely story.
Montreal COMICCON: Preparations continue for the Montreal Mini Con in December and we are very excited to take part in this annual event. As previously mentioned, we will be serving alongside our Klingon brothers. There is only one week left before we hit the stage! New Members: Our new members continuing their course work with the intention of rising in the ranks! In particular, I would like to highlight the work of Ensign 1st Class, Matthew Doucet, and his daughter, Cadet 1st Class, Aurelie Doucet. These two powerhouses have ploughed through academy courses and have become involved in many exciting projects – and we are thrilled to have them on board. Social Media Platforms: Our public page continues to be a popular place with 1.3 K followers! Our crew continues to “chat” via messenger and Discord and we spend time throughout the week checking in and “role-playing”. Events and Challenges: Saturday night social hours continue on the Renaissance and attendance continues to grow! Our Tuesday night movie/academy events continue and are quite popular.
