LOGS – THE RENAISSANCE REPORT

The Renaissance Report newsletter contains great information concerning our club. We’ve included recent charitable accomplishments, member interviews, success stories, photos and so much more. It’s a great way to get to know what we do and who we are.

In the past, we have supported charities within our communities, such as the local food bank, ensuring everyone in need has enough to feed their families. This has been a great success and in December, 380, weighing 350,535lb, were donated to local food banks.

Recently some of our U.S members were dedicated enough to give blood at their local Red Cross.

And a yearly charity event, the Coldest Night of the Year in Canada alone raised $9,339,000 with a generous $500 donation of prizes given by Algonquin Outfitters thanks to fellow member Randy Mitson.

Of course, while helping charities, we also promote ourselves by stating that we are STARFLEET and connected with Star Trek. We feel this effort helps the community as a whole and helps recruit members who might never consider joining our club.

In our newsletter, you can get to know members we have interviewed and discover what their passions are, their fleet rank and how they themselves became involved in the greatest adventure – Star Trek. We come from different backgrounds and countries, but we all share the same love – a series that gives us adventure and hope. It was Gene Roddenberry’s vision that brought us all together now come aboard and experience what it’s like to be STARFLEET – The adventure of a lifetime!
