USS RENAISSANCE NCC-74874
On behalf of myself and the command staff, I would like to welcome you to the ranks of the USS Renaissance, a Region 13 chapter of STARFLEET the International Star Trek Fan Association, Inc. We look forward to working closely with each of you.
A name is more than an identifying feature. It defines us…it shapes our direction…it brings our mission into sharp focus. The name, “USS Renaissance”, represents who we are – and who we wish to become…reborn, renewed, refreshed, reinvigorated.
We are STARFLEET – we come to serve.
The goals of our chapter are two-fold:
- We wish to make a difference in our communities by engaging in community events and fundraising initiatives; and
- We wish to gather, enjoy each other’s company and share our love for all things Trek and science fiction! We are here to support one another and to have FUN!
I would encourage you to read both this handbook and the STARFLEET Membership Handbook. They detail how the USS Renaissance and STARFLEET are organized.
