The humble library: a brick and mortar establishment of yesteryear, a quiet place, a place of knowledge, home to shelves upon shelves of books. If you need to borrow a book, the library is the place for you.
As time went on, what was once home for only documents written and printed on paper became vast databases. Digital books, articles, and documents of all kinds found their way to readers, thanks to library databases.
Even Mr. Spock visited the ship’s library from time to time, as not even a Vulcan could store all known facts and information in their head. They needed databases to store them. From scientific discoveries to mathematical computations, the library housed them all.
While our ship’s library does not respond to voice commands (yet), there is still a lot of valuable information stored within its data banks. Want to learn more about Special Operations and MACO? USS RENAISSANCE NCC-74874 HANDBOOK
The ship’s handbook contains information on command infrastructure and member rights. It can be read online on the Handbook page in the menu above, or downloaded here for convenient offline viewing.
USS RENAISSANCE Ranks and Promotions System
The USS Renaissance operates on a point system, accumulating points as you participate in activities. Most events and activities you participate in are worth a pre-set number of points, and after gaining enough points, you are eligible for a promotion. See the Ranks and Promotions section in the handbook for details. We also have a handy spreadsheet to help keep track of your points and calculate how many you need for your next rank. Make a copy of the spread sheet to add your own points.

This manual outlines all the standard operating procedures and the chain of command infrastructure within a MACO unit.

Portable Document Format files, otherwise known as pdf files, are the standard file type for reading a document on electronic devices. Here’s a step by step guide to using a pdf:
- Click the link to the document of your choice. The document should open in a new page.
- Click the download button. This button can be found in the top left corner. It looks like a piece of paper with an arrow pointing down.
- While that’s downloading, you may need to install a pdf reader. Many devices come equipped with this already. If yours doesn’t, you can download and install the free Acrobat Reader. Follow the instructions to install.
- To enjoy your pdf, simply navigate your way to your downloads folder and open your document.
